Adem Beha është profesor i asociuar i Shkencës Politike në Universitetin e Prishtinës. Ai ka shërbyer si shef i Departamentit të Shkencës Politike dhe më pas edhe si prodekan për kërkime shkencore në Fakultetin Filozofik. Ai ka punuar si konsulent, trajner dhe hulumtues me një sërë organizatash vendore dhe ndërkombëtare të shoqërisë civile, përfshirë Kosovo Institute of Peace, Centre for Political Courage dhe Berghof Foundation.

Interesat dhe fushat e tij të ekspertizës përfshijnë studimet e shtetndërtimit dhe paqendërtimit, partitë politike dhe të drejtat e pakicave. Ai është autor i tre librave: Notes on Statebuilding: Ambiguity, Independence, and Governance in Kosovo (Logos-A: Shkup, Prishtinë, Tiranë, 2019); Between Stabilization and Democratization: Political Parties, Elections and Intra-Party Democracy in Kosovo (Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, 2017); Hybrid Statebuilding: Creative Ambiguity as a Policy of International Administration in Kosovo (ALBAS, 2022), si dhe disa kapituj librash botuar nga Routledge, Palgrave Macmillan, Peter Lang etj. Punimet e tij janë botuar në International Statebuilding and Intervention, Peacebuilding, Nationality Papers, Southeast European and Black Sea Studies, Journal of Ethnopolitics and Minority Issues in Europe, Journal of Peace, Conflict and Development, Journal of Conflict Transformation and Security, dhe Region: Regional Studies of Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia.
