During the year, the academic staff of the Faculty of Architecture published eight scientific papers and took part in one regional conference, with financial support from the University of Pristina totaling €4,400.
Throughout 2025, the Faculty of Architecture expanded its international partnerships. As always, it did not limit itself to teaching and scientific research alone, but through various projects also offered creative solutions for public spaces, especially in the capital city.
The faculty’s academic staff published eight scientific papers in journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. This included one paper in the SCIE, SSCI, and AHCI categories of Web of Science and seven papers in the Q3 quartile of Scopus. The University of Pristina supported these publications with €4,000 and provided an additional €400 for participation in a scientific conference.
In June 2025, the Faculty of Architecture secured a grant from the Austrian ShER Program to support a joint doctoral program with the Faculty of Architecture and Planning at the Technical University of Vienna (TUW) in sustainable architecture and spatial planning.
The fourth edition of the faculty’s international conference, IPAU 2025, was dedicated to building a strong foundation for this doctoral program, advancing scientific research, and promoting academic excellence.
In December, the QILT project came to a close. It was awarded to the University of Pristina under the University Support Grants Program (USGP), funded by the U.S. Embassy and overseen by Kosovo United States Alumni (KUSA). Among other outcomes, the Faculty of Architecture helped the Municipality of Pristina develop ideas and concrete plans to improve accessibility on sidewalks in the city center.
In March 2025, students from the Faculty of Architecture placed tenth worldwide in the ninth edition of the Inspireli Awards 2024, one of the most prestigious international student competitions in architecture, design, and construction engineering.
