In 2025, the academic staff of the Faculty of Education at the University of Prishtina published 19 scientific papers and took part in 9 conferences, with financial support from the University of Prishtina totaling €24,043.

For the Faculty of Education, 2025 was a year of continued progress in scientific research, teaching, internationalization, and cooperation.

During the year, academic staff published 19 scientific papers in journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. This included 7 papers in the SCIE, SSCI, and AHCI categories of Web of Science, and 10 papers in Scopus, spread across quartiles Q1 to Q4 (2 in Q1, 2 in Q2, 5 in Q3, and 1 in Q4). Two scientific chapters were also published by publishers indexed in Web of Science.

The University of Prishtina provided this academic unit with €13,900 for scientific publications and €10,143 for participation in or organization of 9 scientific conferences. Of the 9 conferences attended by the Faculty of Education’s staff, six were international, two were regional, and one was national.

In the ranking by the well-known international platform Times Higher Education which assesses teaching, the learning environment, research quality, international cooperation, and industry connections this faculty ranked highest among all academic units of the University of Prishtina, entering the world’s top 600 institutions in the field of education.

The faculty, which carries out the important mission of training teachers and educators for pre-school, primary, and secondary education, gave special attention to keeping up with the latest teaching tools during a time of rapid technological change and advances in artificial intelligence. It inaugurated the “EdTech Studio” on Teachers’ Day, March 7, 2025.

Throughout the year, academic staff and students of the Faculty of Education also participated in many international and regional workshops and projects.
