In 2025, academic staff at the Faculty of Civil Engineering published 9 scientific papers and took part in 6 conferences, with €11,400 in financial support from the University of Prishtina.

As in past years, the faculty’s professors remained dedicated to advancing research and teaching. They published 9 papers in journals indexed by Web of Science and Scopus. Two of these appeared in the SCIE, SSCI, and AHCI categories of Web of Science, while the other 7 were published in Scopus, spread across quartiles Q1 to Q4 (1 in Q1, 2 in Q2, 1 in Q3, and 3 in Q4). Faculty members also participated in 6 regional scientific conferences.

The University of Prishtina granted €5,700 to support these research papers and allocated an equal amount, another €5,700, for conference involvement and organization.

This year, the Faculty of Civil Engineering joined with colleagues from the Polytechnic University of Tirana to host the third International Conference on Civil Engineering (ICCE 2025).

Attendees included professors, researchers, and professionals from the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Turkey, Switzerland, Greece, Austria, Tunisia, North Macedonia, and many other countries, who contributed their knowledge and experience in construction.

The faculty continues to focus on the newest technological trends in engineering, construction, and architecture through a range of activities.
