Since its founding, the Faculty of Economics has contributed to Kosovo's economic development through its expertise and projects. It maintains continuous and close contact with the public and private sectors and industry to understand the needs and demands of Kosovo's labor market. This ensures that students are ready to enter the job market upon completing their studies.

For this reason, the faculty frequently organizes meetings between entrepreneurs and students. One example was during Entrepreneurship Week, when three young businesspeople shared how they developed their businesses.

The Faculty of Economics also organized the conference titled "Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education in Kosovo – Perspectives and Challenges." This event was part of a project funded by the U.S. Embassy and overseen and implemented by Kosovo United States Alumni (KUSA).
