During 2025, the academic staff of the Faculty of Philology at the University of Prishtina published 22 scientific papers and participated in 24 conferences, with financial support totalling €31,256.50 from the University of Prishtina.

The Faculty of Philology has carried out robust scientific research activities by publishing papers in prestigious journals and platforms, as well as through the participation in and organisation of conferences featuring prominent professors and renowned international experts.

The faculty's academic staff published 22 scientific papers in journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. Of these, one paper is in the SCIE, SSCI, and AHCI categories of Web of Science, and 19 papers are in Scopus, distributed across quartiles Q1–Q4 (6 in Q1, 3 in Q2, 6 in Q3, and 4 in Q4).

Furthermore, professors from the Faculty of Philology have published 2 scientific chapters with publishing houses indexed in Web of Science.

The University of Prishtina provided €11,800 in support for scientific publications and €14,945 for participation in 24 scientific conferences (11 international and 4 regional).

For more than half a century, this faculty has organised the International Seminar on Albanian Language, Literature, and Culture, through which it has maintained, preserved, and developed its external ties, particularly with our diaspora scattered around the world.

The Department of Oriental Studies within this faculty, together with two of its professors, recently received the "Sheikh Hamed Award for Translation and International Understanding." This award is given to individuals and institutions engaged in translations from Arabic into foreign languages.
