On Friday, November 14, 2025, the University of Prishtina and its Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FIEK) signed a memorandum of cooperation with Türkiye's InnoParkKonya Technology Development Zone.
The agreement envisions the joint development of innovative research projects, promotes inter-institutional educational programs with InnoPark's partner universities, and facilitates the organization of training activities and academic exchanges for both staff and students. It also supports initiatives for joint projects and sustainable technological development.
This strategic cooperation represents a significant step toward the internationalization of the University of Prishtina and creates new opportunities for its students and academic staff in the field of electrical and computer engineering.
For this agreement, the University of Prishtina was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FIEK), Prof. Isak Shabani. InnoPark Konya Technology Development Zone was represented by its Board Chairman, Mr. Mustafa Büyükegen, and its General Director, Prof. Ali Kahraman.
The agreement also aims to strengthen academic, industrial, and scientific cooperation between the signing institutions.
InnoPark Konya Technology Development Zone provides infrastructure and support services to encourage innovation, production, and the export of high-technology products. It maintains partnerships with seven universities in Türkiye and the private sector.
Through this agreement, joining those already in effect and others to come, the University of Prishtina continues to strengthen its international network of academic and research partnerships. It aims to enhance quality and innovation in higher education and remains committed to expanding its network of international partners, reinforcing its role as a center of knowledge, innovation, and sustainable development.
