The working group responsible for developing Prishtina University’s Strategic Plan 2026-2030 held a meeting at the rectorate building.
This plan is one of the most important tools for guiding the university’s operations as it faces the challenges of rapid technological change and the rise of artificial intelligence. Its goal is to make the university innovative, modern, and well-connected with the top universities worldwide.
The plan clearly focuses on two main priorities: students and the overall performance of the institution.
Today’s meeting was the eleventh session of the working group. For the development of the new strategic plan, all relevant stakeholders have been involved, including members of the Steering Council, vice-rectors, deans, students, academic staff, and administrative personnel.
The plan is expected to be approved by the Steering Council in June 2026. Led by Professor Mimoza Ibrani, a member of the Steering Council, the working group has held regular meetings to discuss progress. These included reviewing the implementation of the previous plan (2023-2025), gathering input from all stakeholders, actively involving students, and ultimately presenting the new objectives, activities, and key performance indicators.
The Strategic Plan will be supported by an Action Plan, which will focus on strategic priorities.
The development of Prishtina University’s Strategic Plan 2026-2030 was made possible with support from the ShER Program - Sustainable Higher Education and Research in Kosovo.
