Today, a group of professors from Portugal, Brazil, and Croatia visited the Rectorate of the University of Pristina.
During their meeting, the guests were introduced to UP's history, accomplishments, and plans for the future, which include fostering closer ties between academic units, expanding partnerships with leading universities around the world, and moving forward with digital transformation.
The talks also focused on deepening cooperation and reaching new shared goals, with everyone agreeing that positive change often starts with personal connections and meetings like this one.
Professor Hrvoje Brkić of the University of Zagreb noted that he gave his first professional lecture right here at the University of Pristina in 1987, adding that Kosovo has seen remarkable progress since then.
The visiting groupcomprising Prof. Christiana Palmela Pereira from the University of Lisbon Faculty of Dental Medicine; Prof. Ricardo Henrique Alves da Silva from the University of São Paulo Ribeirão Preto School of Dentistry; Prof. Marin Vodanović, Dean of the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Zagreb; and colleagues from the same school, Prof. Hrvoje Brkić, Prof. Jeta Kelmendi, and Prof. Venera Bimbashi was accompanied by UP Professor Ferit Koçani and welcomed by the Rector of the University of Pristina, Prof. Arben Hajrullahu.
The professors are in Kosovo to take part in the Seventh International Dental Conference, organized by the Kosovo Dental Chamber.
